On December 11th, OostNV welcomed a Healthcare delegation from Vietnam at the Novio Tech Campus in Nijmegen. It is the first Healthcare delegation from Vietnam in the Netherlands. A small group of Vietnamese companies joined in this tour with focus on distributing medical equipment, pharmaceutical and medical nutrition products in Vietnam and neighbouring countries Laos and Cambodja.
Another objective w
as to find parties that could develop and build hospital environments. For this reason the Dutch company Bussman from Beuningen presented their modular high technology hospital units (e.g. dialyses, radiology and operations rooms). John Schalken from Science Meets Business presented the innovation model used to stimulate and assist companies in the first stages of their development.
The delegation will also meet with the medical technology foundation Taskforce Healthcare (FME) and some of their companies. After this visit OostNV will explore further possibilities on cooporation, specifically in distributing products from Dutch companies in Southeast Asia and sharing the knowledge of mature Life Sciences incubation models in Vietnam.
